Bruce J. Tandy, DMD

Dr. Bruce Tandy received his DMD degree from Washington University in St. Louis following 4 years at the University of Rochester. Having completed a General Practice Residency at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Hartford, CT, Dr. Tandy began a private group practice in Vernon and Coventry where he practiced for 38 years. He is presently retired from private practice and teaches clinical dentistry at Nova Southeastern School of Dental Medicine.

An active member of the Florida State Dental Association and American Dental Association, he has served in multiple leadership roles and is Past President of the Connecticut State Dental Association. Elected as a member of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, the American College of Dentists, and the International College of Dentists, honorary fellowships in the dental profession, he also serves on the board of the Eastman Institute for Oral Health at the University of Rochester.

Dr. Tandy is a Past President of the America’s Dentist Care Foundation and a past Co-Chair of the Connecticut Mission of Mercy Free Dental Clinic.

Dr. Tandy serves on the Program Committee and Public Relations Committee.

Dr. Tandy’s personal interests include travel, golf, wine and organized dentistry. He is married with 2 children.
