Katharine Doten

Katharine “Kathy” Doten is a Board Member of the Connecticut Foundation for Dental Outreach (CFDO) and Co-Chair of the Development Committee. A licensed dental hygienist with more than 40 years of clinical experience, she is a graduate of the Forsyth School for Dental Hygienists and Northeastern University. Since joining the Connecticut Mission of Mercy (CTMOM) in 2009, Kathy has been a passionate advocate for expanding access to oral healthcare. She served as Radiology Lead 2019 to 2025 and currently is a Lead in Routing. Kathy works to strengthen community partnerships, support fundraising initiatives, and promote oral health equity throughout Connecticut. She has been an active volunteer with Connecticut Oral Health Initiative COHI (COHI).

Outside of her professional and volunteer work, Kathy enjoys traveling, hiking, reading, scrapbooking, photography, and creating lasting memories with family and friends. She is inspired by opportunities to connect people, build meaningful relationships, and make a positive difference in her community.
