The Connecticut Foundation for Dental Outreach (CFDO) was founded in November of 2007 as a consortium of individuals from the oral health care sector who sought to collaborate to improve the oral health of the underserved and working poor in the state of Connecticut.
Its Board of Directors oversees the financial health of the foundation, outreach programs, and act as ambassadors to other organizations and community outreach projects.
The CFDO sponsors the Connecticut Mission of Mercy Free Dental Clinic dedicated to providing charitable dental care to the underserved, uninsured and working poor and building awareness of the importance of oral healthcare to create a healthier community. It also sponsors other community outreach activities.
The Connecticut Foundation for Dental Outreach is a tax-exempt nonprofit organization under 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code. Our tax identification number is 26-1437861. Contributions to the CFDO are eligible for a tax-deduction to the full extent allowed by law.
