Ernest Spira, DDS

Ernest Spira, DDS, a retired periodontist provided oral healthcare services for over 40 years. Dr. Spira is the immediate past Vice-Chairman of the board serving since its inception. Dr. Spira is a Clinical Consultant for the Connecticut Mission of Mercy Free Dental Clinic and previous Co-Chair and Facilities Lead. He has served as President of the Manchester Dental Society and has served on the board of the Connecticut State Dental Association (CSDA), as well as the America’s Dentists Care Foundation. Dr. Spira has held teaching positions at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, Saint Francis Hospital and presently teaches at Hartford Hospital. He is a member of Pierre Fauchard Academy, CSDA, American Academy of Periodontology and Fellow in the American College of Dentists.
